Balance sponsored athlete Lauren Mead will set sail this Sunday 13th September. Lauren is the youngest woman in the Clipper Race this year. She sets sail from Hull as part of the 19 member crew on Uniquely Singapore to take part in this years round world race. Lauren is set to become a professional off shore racer on her return.

The Clipper Race is the only amateur global yacht race in existence that sees 17 crew and 1 professional skipper battling it out with the 9 other boats in the fleet as we race 35,000 miles around the world.
